It was Edwards Deming who said that “If you don’t understand what you are doing as a process, you don’t understand what you are doing.” The design and implementation of disciplined, standardized processes is key to building high performing organizations. Consequently, the heart of ProCarta is a simple, visual process designer. Users quickly create a hierarchy of processes, activities and tasks to support a chosen function. Information to support the process includes process owner, value added indicators. Detailed task level information - how to perform the task, roles, tools, timelines - are also collected. Users can drag, drop, copy and delete process elements from either within the plan they are working on or from an existing library of plans.

At any point in the design process, users can instantly generate standard process or swimlane flowcharts using our Visio automation engine. ProCarta analyses by auto generating workflow, creating flowcharts and generating business process mapping. Our reporting engine can quickly determine information such as reponsibilities, valued added listings and tools used.
